transparent.screen

For those looking to create a new year simpler than the last, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness is the way to go. Their "Talk. Text. Time." tagline tries to make minimalism cool, but with a transparent screen, I think they simply ran out of room to put the hardware. Sure, anyone can see through their campaign as easily as they can see through the screen, but despite the shortcomings in features, the phone does exhibit beautiful new technology available for the first time. The phone does come with modern essentials such as internet, but if they're not pushing it, I'm assuming it's not worth using. Bottom line? This phone would make a great secondary device to your Blackberry or iPhone, but aesthetics alone aren't going to pull the weight for first pick. Created in collaboration with Saks Fifth Avenue, the phone is available on the Saks website for $990
