concrete-tumblerThe day I saw these concrete tumblers posted on, though when I tried to go to the website it wouldn't load - later that night I logged on but they were already sold out. These tumblers are popular because of their rugged good looks and they make a more practical alternative to Baccarat glassware. $40 for two, the tumblers are unique from Charles & Marie - searching online for similar alternatives produces no results.

Beyond their touted extended life and efficiency, L.E.D.s are neat because the light is more concentrated so you're able to see without distracting others, perfect for working at night in a dorm room, plus they're pretty cool. My favorite is the Libra from Alliance Optotek Corp. and available for $195. The settings on this lamp are controlled by a touchpad similar to a PS3 and can be dimmed from 100% power to 10% while also equipped with three different autosleep settings that can automatically turn it off in 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours.
