Found on MocoLoco, the Larsen C Toothbrush Holder is modern, beautiful, and named after the melting Larcen C Ice Shelf. Despite the odd association (brushing teeth + global warming), the toothbrush holder would work as great modern accessory for a guest or child's toothbrush (assuming you own an electric). In fact, I think paired with the Paul Smith Novelty Toothbrushes, they would make a perfect match. If you want to go all out, buy the Harman Kardon look-alike speakers (for $999.95).

foosball.table
This foosball table is almost too perfect to use. Found on The Fancy, the table -- simply called "11" -- features "atmospheric lighting" and chromed metal players. Perfect for adding pizzaz to the game room, you might need to sacrifice a few other games in order to pay the €48,500 price-tag. With the company based in the Netherlands, the table is not a last minute gift. Hand-production takes 12 weeks but the final product is one of a kind. If table games spark your interest, check out the previously featured Lux Minimalist Foosball Table and Puma Chalk Ping Pong Table.

wood.iphone
I found a new app called Fancy which features modern and well-designed products hitting the market. Apparently a mobile version of The Fancy Blog, it was featured in Apple's app store. The iPhone 4 Black Veil from Killspencer was one of my first finds and I plan on buying. The cover effectively adds an extra dimension to the iPhone without ruining the hallmark simplicity of the phone. The iPhone 4 is known for being part-glass, part-metal, but the dark black wood stiff veneer adds another basic element to the collection. Available for $20 on the Killspencer website, add inconspicuous flare to the gadget you couldn't do without.
If you like this modern pattern, check out the minimalist Gray Wood background featured on Yanko Design's website.

opus.square
I originally planned to include the Opus Square (2009) with my original post about Lolli & Memmoli but I realized it deserved its own post. I've been a fan of smoke-tinted glass ever since I saw a smoke-tinted mirror at Arkitektura In-Situ late last year but this chandelier adds many more dimensions and interest. The Opus Square effectively combines my love of art deco with modern design, creating a complex and elegant chandelier that's also minimalist and bare.
cb2.robot
This robot from CB2 is made from antique-finished recycled iron and features a salvaged meter in lieu of heart. While the meter doesn't tick, the arms move and each $19.95 robot is unique. I previously featured the Flying Saucer Bowl Set by Museum of Robots and the two would go together well.

malin.goetz
Founded in 1994, MALIN+GOETZ is the child of Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz and born in New York's Chelsea District. I found the company in my quest to discover a better deodorant that could last long without making me smell like a Gillette locker room. After reading the awards racked up on GQ, Details, The New York Times, Vogue etc., I assumed they were doing something right. When I went to buy their signature eucalyptus deodorant, they were sold out in stores... and online... and it stayed that way for a month. Finally Bloomingdales received stock and I bought.
The deodorant is amazing. The smell is great but it's the protection -- not the scent -- that lingers, providing neutralizing protection without complicating your parfum. Their peppermint shampoo paired with cilantro conditioner creates a perfect duo that smells and works great. I also use their geranium body wash after going through both eucalyptus and bergamot (like them all). The packaging looks great and the font coordinates with proper use: green for body, blue for face, red for hair. If you want simple and natural scents that do a superb job, MALIN+GOETZ is the standard.
